Analysis of I can't move on

The days are so long
I can hardly remember the days I was strong
You want to make things right
yet we always seem to fight
I can't forget what you did
although there are so many emotions I hid
when I tried to tell you how I felt
I saw no sight of guilt
I heard words or an excuse
you never even saw the emotional abuse
you crushed my heart
and now you want a brand new start
how is it that you can move on
when most of me is gone
the pieces that remain are shattered
while my thoughts are all scattered
I feel like I'm stuck
I can't seem to move on
Maybe I just need you gone
