Analysis of Strength

Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)

Knowledge comes to us in readiness of soul.
Our hearts take it like shots of power,
fattening our bodies as we turn it to muscles of strength in times of hardship.
Flexing our minds and releasing it into joy.
How we stomach the powers above us and within us like toys, sometimes throwing up the rush of impulse thrust back at a tiny world.
Often souring in crowds of protest as one goal becomes a revolt of change boldly made on cloudy days.
Even unchangeable goals are met face on however ignored we cling on to lost truths as the ignorant and newly awakened muse their way through, hearts pounding uncouthly.
