Analysis of THE MAN WITH THE ONE SIDED COIN
Audrey Richards 1955 (Los Angeles)
I heard the sound of machinery
that brings him near my door
my heart is pounding my body trembling
over this impossible situation that I abhore
there's a hole in the roof
a hot water heater he refuses to let us install
it's his kingdom, after all and we are goofs
but he moans and complains
a mouth as big as a vault, everything remains our fault
our pain we adjoin
living with the man who holds the one - sided coin
