Analysis of Wise Sayings
A good name is better,
Than a precious ointment;
Not being a debtor,
Or a disappointment.
It is better to go,
In the day to a place;
Than at night when you know,
That you are a disgrace.
And for the day of death,
Better than time of birth;
After your final breath,
God tells you your true worth.
This is the end of all,
Life lays it to the heart;
Times when you took a fall,
From the Lord you depart.
Grief is best for sorrow,
Sadness makes the heart glad;
Gives hope for tomorrow,
For laughter makes you sad.
A wise heart in mourning,
Better that fools with mirth;
A change without warning,
Changes scope of its worth.
Man to hear a rebuke,
Than hearing songs of fools;
Maybe will cause a fluke,
By using the right tools.
The laughter of the fools,
Also is vanity;
Because they bend the rules,
Showing insanity.
Oppression drives the wise,
A bribe corrupts the heart;
As madness in disguise,
From the Word they depart.
Consider works of God,
As the straight and narrow;
Never will they be flawed,
Never built with sorrow.
