Analysis of I Still Dare To Dream.
I Still Dare To Dream
Do you remember the way it used to be?
My mind drifts back in time to thoughts of you and me.
With a sense of sadness and a touch of a smile,
I thought we had it all there for a little while.
What remains is a broken shell of all that went before,
Quiet spirit forgotten, heart asunder, bleeding and torn.
Now, tis alone that I walk, my emptiness forlorn.
I cannot forget the love that we once shared.
When you went away, I wasn't prepared.
What was left behind, you cannot know,
Darkness surrounds, complete, onward is slow.
Time to lie down now, where time does not exist,
Where thoughts of you are sweet; your arms I can't resist.
It's here your always there, so I close my eyes to see,
It's there, we're always here, because I still dare to dream.
