Analysis of Only just

In the morning I exhale the pain.. only just to breathe again.
I get dressed.. only just to feel alive again.
I eat breakfast.. only just to nourish my soul.
I medicate.. only just to push away the inevitable.
I smile.. only just to hide my sadness.
I keep my head up... Only just to acknowledge that it isn't going anywhere.
I get my chemo... Only just to fight the symptoms.
I pray... Only just to know that God will save me a place in heaven.
I am... Only just me.
