Analysis of Chained

It chills me like the night, holding me against my will.
Should I allow it to overcome me or fight it, painfully within me it all Is surreal.
Crying out my voice is silenced by the world around me that is cold.
I'm terrified I'm no longer feeling bold.
I can see blood spilling all around me pouring like the rain.
My soul drifting slowly out me slipping straight from my open veins.
But still there is no salvation it is only darkness and lingering pain. and I'm left in this darkness weighed by my imaginary chains.
