Analysis of Love Of God
Love Of God
Author: Mark V. Markov
Before I said a word
Your word of love spoke to me
You have always been there for me
Your sacrifice on the cross
Breathes new life into me
You have been so merciful to me
Oh. the never ending
Ever flowing
Love of God
Oh, it leads me on
Helps me to be found
Gives me eternal life
I don't deserve it
Still on the cross
You sacrificed
Your only Begotten Son
For me
Oh, the never-ending
Ever flowing
Love of God
When I was lost
Your love has still found me
You have always been there for me.
When I was abandoned
Your love rescued me
You have been so merciful to me.
Oh, the never-ending
Ever flowing
Love of God.
Oh, it leads me on
Helps me to be found
Gives me eternal life.
I don't deserve it
Still on the cross
You gave Your only Begotten Son
For me.
Oh, the never-ending
Ever flowing
Love of God.
Nothing can stop it
It always uplifts me
Nothing can go against it
It always protects me
Oh, the never-ending
Ever flowing
Love of God
O, it leads me on
Helps me to be found
Gives me eternal life
I don't deserve it
Still on the cross
You gave Your only Begotten Son
For me
O the never-ending
Ever flowing
Love of God
Lord You have been
Always there for me
Because of Your merciful grace
You have been so good to me
O, the never-ending
Ever flowing
Love of God
O, it leads me on
Helps me to be found
Gives me eternal life
I don't deserve it
Still on the cross
You gave Your only Begotten Son
For me
O, the never-ending
Ever flowing
Love of God...
1 John 4:8 ESV
Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
1 John 4:7-12 ESV
7 Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.
8 Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.
9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.
10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
