Analysis of Paint Dry

Feeling like the paint is dry. Waiting hours to preserve the shine she felt when her can was first opened. Yet each stroke that is supposed to increase her beauty..seemingly steals more of her color.  Listening to the beat of the paint brush as it strikes more of her essence away. Lately, really forever she has desired the right wall to blossom on. Yet as she hesitates when they come around, it’s only after her guards are up..they disappear. Feeling like the paint is dry. Heart full of hollow grounds from wounds she has always managed to patch herself up from. Running low on hope..yet wanting to remain optimistic. Visions of a love I can truly call my own.  Affection that is only for me. Kisses I won’t have to compete for. Fingertips that only curve to my skin. Contemplating on how I fell so hard for you. Feeling like the paint is dry..damn..stolen away right when I realized I need you.
