Analysis of The Girl With Golden Hair

To what do I owe thee;
In return for this night of bliss
I remember as if today were yesteryear
And she,
I shall never forget

The moon has, as it does;
Gone from here to there, without notice
As I sit beside the girl with golden hair
We talk of many things
Of which I do not care
Just to be near the girl with golden hair

Is it hours or minutes?
I cannot tell
The night has opened up our hearts
And I've fallen in love
With the girl with golden hair
