Analysis of Awaken

Stunning Asian woman
In all of your splendorous glory,
Clothed in a muted lilac printed gown-
I look into your misty eyes of jade.
I grasp hold of your hand
As I fall into a peaceful trance.

Last night they locked me inside of an empty room.
Through the picture window
I feasted upon the magical reflections
Visible upon the reservoir outside…
Sadly unaware, I wept bitter tears of abandonment.

Last night I visited you in my dreams,
A beautiful woman dressed in black
Chanting operatic tunes,
Harmonious and almost mesmerizing
With their inwardly rising passion.

You would disrobe before me,
In my fondest dreams-
Your voluptuous body has set my heart afire…
Tonight, I wish to take your hand
And lead you in a dance towards my horizon,
Where I shall carry you afar with loving arms.

Most angelic woman with hair of polished silver,
You have won my heart and are the essence of my dreams.
Tomorrow I shall awaken from a profoundly restful slumber-
I shall break through the barriers of this prison
With utmost hope and joy- my sanity restored.
I shall return to my home, my citadel above the clouds…
