Analysis of Behind These Eyes

Brittney McCardle 1986 (Hattiesburg, MS)

Behind these eyes no one can see
All the pain within me
Such sorrow i live in
My soul could cave in....
I long for serenity
For just a happy me
For just once in my life
My heart not to feel strife
Despite it all
Ill never fall
Behind these eyes im sinking deep
If only someone could save me....
