Analysis of BY GOD'S GRACE

BY GOD'S GRACE

TWO YEARS HAS CAME AND GONE,
TRYIN’ TO  HOLD UP AND GO ON.
MISSIN’ YOU SO MUCH,
ALWAYS MAKIN’ IT SO TOUGH.
TO SEE YOU AGAIN,
KNOW THAT I WILL AT THE END.
WILL I STAND TALL?
HOLD ME UP DON'T LET ME FALL.
YOU LEFT ME WITHOUT NO WARNING.
NO MORE SADNESS, NO MORE CRYING.
YOU ARE IN A BETTER PLACE,
TAKEN BY GOD'S GRACE.
I KNOW YOU'RE LOOKING DOWN ON ME,
SAYIN’ DON'T BE SAD, I'M SET FREE.
NO MORE SUFFERING NO MORE PAIN,
I'M UP IN HEAVEN WITH WINGS THAT I'VE GAIN.
HAVE YOU FORGAVE ME FOR NOT BEING THERE,
I LOVE YOU AND I STILL REMEMBER LIKE IT WAS YESTERDAY.
THAT GOD HAS TOOK YOU AWAY,
ON OCTOBER 27 2014, I LOST MY DAD TO CANCER,
WISHIN’ I HAD THE ANSWER.
I DON'T JUST NEED YOU CLOSE TO ME,
SO I CAN BE WHO YOU WANTED ME TO BE.
