Analysis of TRANQUILITY

A day without a sight of you
My mind is clear of your thoughts
This heart for a day learned to ignore you
But this battle remains to be fought

Naïve as you are
Sophisticated your words may be
Your thoughts that rushed from afar
Still tenders a part of me

Left without a soul
Aching from a fall
I learned to be strong
I need to hold on

Radical this feeling is
Complex this feeling may be
We should learn to be at ease
And let our frustrations free

Tranquility, peace of mind
Something I can’t really find
All I have are these rhymes
To make my feelings fine

About this poem

It’s funny how you tend to experience the same thing you did eons ago. This is true for this poem. It’s a poem about missing someone and how it is so hard to let go.
