NO PLOY

Jason Taopo 1984 (Manila)

I think now I’m in trouble
I was so sure I would last
I was not expecting to hobble
But all my walls just turned to dust

It’s not even December yet
But I don’t think I can keep my promise
Why did I allow myself to forget
That for this year I’ll let Cupid to miss

Falling for you was every bit a surprise
A feeling I have tried my best avoiding
But my heart can no longer lie
For you, I just can’t help falling

So there it goes, now you know
No more games, no playing coy
Be with me and don’t say no
I love you, this is no ploy
