Analysis of The Shadow Of Frankenstein

jody l cooke 2021 (north carolina)

The Shadow Of
Frankenstein

I taste the blood of my enemies
only to be crucified in front of all
humanity.

I created a creature that never
dies for I am no human I am God
in their eyes.

The creature I created will never
sleep in a grave, he will only wonder
in a sad slumber throughout his
days.

Even now my blood turns cold
thinking back of days not to long
ago.

Memories of my true love is still
haunting my soul as my work here
begins to unfold.
