Analysis of Daughter Welcome Home

When the storms of life
Whip up a gale
And you don't know where to turn
When you feel there's no redemption
On the path of no return
When you've done your best
With every test
And trial along your way
Please be still and listen child
I am the truth, the life, the way

I know it's hard
I know you're scared
But you don't have to fight alone
In the darkest night
The fiercest storm
I'm still on the throne
Be still and know
I love you now
And I always will
Through the raging storm
The flowers bloom
High upon the hill

Now as the autumn twilight fades
And your leaves begin to fall
You don't have to be afraid
When the angels come to call
I know your heart belongs to me
You no longer have to roam
Well done my good and faithful servant
Daughter, welcome home.

Yes now you see my glory
Now your work on earth is done
Your agony is finished
But your life has just begun
Lift your voice and spread your wings
Take your place among the throng
These pearly gates reverberate
With the power of your song

I know your heart
Belongs to me
You no longer have to roam
Well done my good and faithful servant
Daughter, welcome home...
