Analysis of THE MAN-BOYS WHO NEVER DIE

Handsome youths mature
Into mighty warriors,
Nourished by fresh blood.

Dreadful warnings
Of the living-dead risen,
To feast upon blood.

Ancient warriors
Young men now risen again,
Devour human lives.

Sleeping innocents
About to die: Red-rimmed eyes
Watch through the window.

Evil warriors:
The man-boys who never die;
Nourished by fresh blood.

The man-boys from Hell
Bring terror for the living
No-one can survive!

The man-boys from Hell

About this poem

Like other verses I've put up, I originally wrote this as a single haiku. A dozen years later I wrote the other verses to create what I call a haiku set.
