Analysis of Lost Love

Words once said lost in time
Love once felt, past its prime.
Feelings so deep, forever asleep,
Memories once so precious, now buried deep.

Two hearts that once beat as one,
Now separated, the damage done.
Endless nights and days without sun,
Searching again for that special one.

Aching for what once was,
Knowing it will never be again,
Living each day with the pain,
Heartache and despair is all that remain.

Maybe this was meant to be,
Ordained by our stars and fate,
Future joy yet to see,
For love moves on and does not wait.
