Analysis of Covid 19

Sheila A Morgan 1951 (Baltimore)

You come to us like a thief in the night,
Take what you want,  it's just not right.
Everyone is Ill and really scared,
It's just not right, why does it have to be shared.
Some people get Covid worse than others,
Especially our older adults, like our mothers.
The doctors and nurses try to help us,
Talk to our families  and begin to discuss.
What is our condition ? what's the next step ?
Try to keep us alive as we slept.
Are we going to live or going to die ?
Only Good knows for sure as our families cry.
They pay to God to let his will be done,
As each day goes by slowly for their loved one.
So many questions and hopes for life,
Then finally prayers are answered,  no more strife.
She finally starts to wake up and recover,
All the illness is now letting up we discover.
A fresh breath of relief from everyone,
The danger is passed and finally gone.
Wear your masks and keep a social distance,
Stay Away from Covid 19, it's still in existence,
So many rules to follow all the time,
However it started really is a crime.
