Analysis of Light I can't seem to find

What’s on my heart? What’s on my mind? I’m trapped in darkness..light I can’t seem to find. I feel trapped for a petty crime...somewhat of a petty lie...now mommas cryin, I pray to God hoping to die. Who and where do I turn to? Who can I ask for help? God is there I understand....but it gotta be someone else. Nah? To God I turn too...on my knees I pray, “For family’s well-being and to keep me safe”, it ain’t to late to change my ways....Lord please let Tracy open the gates. I have support..i have love much...this life so crazy you just have to try and rush. I need somebody to lean on..I need a brother. I need help from a man....assist me on taking care of mother. I’m in a cage, each and everyday...that’s to say I’m so very sad...I try and keep faith...how i really need my dad....oh for heaven’s sake.
