Analysis of Always

Sherry Caayupan 1980 (Davao city)

I will remember you,
Through the days and nights so cold;
I would be a little blue,
Til our secrets do unfold;

Your face is a sacred paragon,
The reflection of your soul;
Your love is what keeps me hanging on,
Like strings with chain and ball;

I want our soleful hearts to kiss,
I want to feel your touch again;
It's your loving hands I miss,
As if I'm your long lost brethren;

If I could only turn back time,
You would still be here;
You would never be gone, right by my side,
I want to feel you near.
