Analysis of Only You

A lot of people know the surface side of me the outside
But there is another side, the inside, that people never see
It's a part filled with a thousand thoughts,
A part that embraces love, and cherishes friendships.
That understands, without the need for words.
A part that has yearnings, desires, and prayers.
The inside of me has so many moods, that the outside never shows.
For once in my life though, I trust someone explicitly.
Care about him in an unexplainable way.
I feel like it is ok to let that someone in...
To let them see me emotionally and physically as natural as can be.
I have given myself to you, without inhibitions..
Shared with you things I have never told another living soul.
You are the one person who has seen me trembling and afraid.
You are the one I want beside me, I am happy and my spirit is soaring.
I trust you with my innermost secrets, but most of all with my heart.
This sharing is the most wonderful dimension my soul has ever known.
Only You know the real me, and I am scared!
To open myself, makes me vulnerable, it opens my heart to pain...
And my soul to extinction...
