Analysis of Mind Of A Dying Stranger
I want to talk to a dying stranger
Do they have a dying wish or two for their remainder
What all goes thru their mind
Are they pain struck and with grief they bind
Does their life flash across their eyes
Do they think of the bad days and whys
Do they recall the good times gone by
Do they curse themselves or the loved ones that cry
Do they wish that they were gone but yesterday
Do they wish to still have that one last perfect day
Do they look back at their life with content
Do they submerge themselves in regret
Why do some of them have a smile on their face
Have they accepted their fate with grace
Is that to tell you, that they happy to go to a better place
Is that a front, to give you strength to death embrace
Why do some of them give up so easy
Is it their patience or the burned on you they see
Some people have to suffer and die
Some get their death instantly without try
Some souls die and relive a second chance
Their last breath they all still get a tiny glance
Sometimes in their sleep or a struggle to grasp for it
What is that very last thing on their mind as draw it
Not that I’m thinking of dying, but think of death I do
Not that I’m ready to die, but think of the time I would
What would be your dying wish or two
What would you think when your time came too
Tomorrow our life could be in danger
I do want to talk to a dying stranger
