Analysis of THAT BRACKS CREATURE
That Bracks creature is on the prowl,
A sewer rat who comes out at night,
They call him a night owl
Because he never comes out in the light.
That Bracks creature haunts the sewers by day,
And slinks out looking for victims at night,
He always seems to have a lot to say
But most of it just doesn't seem right.
That Bracks creature is a sewer hound
In the daylight he hibernates,
But at night he can be found
Trying without luck to concentrate.
That Bracks creature is an utter failure
He promises us the Earth,
To we southern Australians
But quickly proves that he has no worth.
That Bracks creature haunts the sewer ways
Tossing muck at the people,
If they want to have a fair say
He's only interested in bleating sheeple.
That Bracks creature is on the beat,
Tearing down democracy at every step,
Spreading new lies to all it meets
Truth to him is a strange concept.
That Bracks creature is on the march
Like some kind of migratory sewer rat,
Without panache and without any class
He don't know where he's been or where he's at.

About this poem
After seven looooooooooong years of tyranny, Jeff Kennett was finally voted out of power in Victoria. Unfortunately, his replacement, Steve Bracks, turned out to be just as evil, and even more slippery!
