Analysis of Knee Deep And Stuck

Lawrence S. Pertillar 1947 (Connecticut)

To argue over it or not.
We have seemed to reach,
A place knee deep and stuck.
Needless to debate.
Or question which direction,
To the right or left to take.

When consciously to follow,
Beliefs to not know why but do.
To wonder too late to use,
Common sense to refuse.
To depend upon others to have it.
Their guess is as good,
As any other to discovery this.

Pointless it is to yell for help.
To expect it to come,
From the ones also yelling,
'You fools have been told repeatedly...
Walking consciously into quicksand,
Is no way out of dilemmas...
Without a strategy to plan,
An alternative one.
Just in case you maybe faced,
With obstacles to least...
Consider to be prepared for them as well!

When anyone becomes,
Knee deep and stuck...
In decisions they have made.
What is someone else to do?
But to respect those decisions.
And more on!

To know,
Experiences to live them.
Can not be taught to teach them learned!
Life to live it,
And survive painless.
Does not provide,
Such options!
