Analysis of Where I’m from

Where I’m from

Where I'm from, is indescribable.
But, I'm a black woman with so much power in myself.
Even the littlest of littlest fear won’t knock me out.

I hear fear, while everyone runs, But I learned to stand still and take a stand for it.
For I am strong,
And where I'm from, nothing is weaker than my power, in the beaming sight out of the cornea of my eye.

But, where I’m from, the sight of being underestimated, is not okay.
Just because I’m a black woman, and you don’t want to see me grow into my full potential in life, well i’m ready for it.

Unless, the nation hates the taste of a black women’s self advocate.
But the sight of a black woman is already enough to scare the haters away from my destiny.
But, where I'm from, a black woman will arise at the top of my throne,
nothing will be underneath us.
