Analysis of Summer and Florida
Dr. T. Pinnock 1962 (Hartford, Ct)
SUMMER
Hot sun, the tall trees with leaves
They look like spots in the sky.
It is summer, nobody is sleepy and cold
They are set for the hot summer.
With the summers before,
This summer will be more.
The summer may have rainy days but it pays.
And dying from the heat take off your clothes
And put on your bathing suit,
And go to the beach,
And have a picnic and for dessert
Have a peach.
The summer is more than the hot sun,
It is having fun.
FLORIDA
What a hot world it is.
Sweat until tears come out
of your eyes.
The summers up here may be hot to us,
Go to there you will die and bust.
