Analysis of The Black Man

Being a black man is a gift and a cursed. We are often misunderstood and misrepresented in this country we called America. America is red, white and blue, because my blackness is cover in red by the white in blue. Being born as a black man in America you already have target on your back. Getting pulled over for speeding just to get a bullet in your back. The system were built for us to fail since the dawn of time. They took out all our great leaders, just to stop the uprise. Being label a criminal because of my hair style. Living in this lovely country, they treat us like a stepchild.

But is it a hate crime when you get murder by your own kind. Can’t scream Black Lives Matter unless the white man behind the 9. It’s just another day in the hood they say Fighting and arguing over petty things. Throwing your life away over something he said. We scream for respect but don’t respect ourselves. Society been killing us for a long time, but we still stood firm and proud through the rocky times, but some where down the line we were trained to hate our own kind.

Even our queens found a way to put us down. Disrespect, degrading and humiliation by our black queens hurt worse than a gun shot to the back. They will hold a child hostage from their father just because they upset or if he don’t have that child support check. On this long journey A queen supposed to cherish her king and be his safety net if he falls along the way. Not a road block on his path to greatness.

But as a black man, how can we blame the world for all our problems and pain. Complaining about our upbringing and not having a easy way. Mother and father ain’t home so we grow up and do the same thing. Turning our backs on the ones who care and want to see us be great. We brave and strong to lay with our queen, but weak and afraid to help take care of the future kings and queens that was place here. we have to better ourselves  and retrain our minds set on life.

Stand up black men and be the kings god created us to be.
