Analysis of The Loss
Even though your moving on
I wish that you would prove me wrong
To be correct is to accept your passing
I am not that strong
You were the one who kept me safe
You were there on my worst days
To hug me, love me, pick me up and give me kisses on my face
Feeling overwhelmed with love and you wouldn't have to say a word
I could see it in your eyes it shined so bright I could see the world
Holding us so close just so we could laugh and joke
Your attention was a blessing, now emotions start to choke
I know that all this pain I feel inside
It will be dealt with if
If I said I wished it's someone else
That would be selfish
I know you feel no pain and where you are sick don't exist
In a flood of love and grace it is a place of happiness
When I heard that you went away
Time stopped and I dropped to my knees to pray
It's like my whole life is crashing down behind me
I feel the tears as I sit alone
Hoping that you'll walk in and say buddy I'm home
I'm so lost and I wish my daddy could find me
