Analysis of whim
nina 2002 (Paraguay)
do you know what it feels like
to have a broken heart...
...to feel that a part of you is gone
that nothing matter anymore
to feel empty
that you are nothing without that person?
i didn’t know,
until she left.
you promised me to stay forever, but you went away.
you promised me eternal love, but it ran out.
you promised me happiness, but you gave me sadness.
you promised me fidelity, but that was the last thing you did.
and for what?
for a mere whim.
