Analysis of Little Light Of Hope
Christopher Ray Stratton 1980 (tennessee)
In a tunnel full of darkness
no light to be found
I realized I'd hit bottom
when I was laid out on the ground.
Then up in the heavens
my gaze began to see
A little light shimmer
I just knew it was for me!
So I set my sights on it
that light way up in the sky
And as I keep focus
I begin to feel as if I can fly
There was joy to be found
right there where I was at
Because now I am standing
I am not laid out on my back
My Lord and my Savior
the maker of that light
My ultimate defender
the giver of strength in any fight!
The most gracious Creator
solver of all my needs
The ultimate giver of blessings

About this poem
When I felt I was so far lost and alone and nothing but darkness was closing in on me from all directions, I fell to my lowest point and laying there with nothing but pitch black encompassing me, I seen this little pin hole of light in all the darkness!
