Analysis of Struggling to Change

A life spent struggling
just trying to make it day to day.
Is a life spent wasted
  in so many different ways!
There are so many things
that I could go and say
About how I have messed up
  in so many different ways
But just by talking about them
  isn't going to change anything
So I devoted my life to GOD
So I can feel all he has to bring!
I've never been able
to make it on my own
But now that I've found GOD
  I'm not doing this alone
Everyday he is changing me
  allowing me to see
The person I need to become
The Father I need to be
God's a presence in my life
  always helping me to grow
And when I have a struggle
He guides me on how to go
Through constant prayer and dedication
I continue to open up my heart
And with my Lord and Savior
I've been given a brand new start

About this poem

I wrote this poem as an expression of myself... in a struggle to find me and the spirit that dwells within but we aren't always able to hear or feel it, because of all the distractions in the world today
