Analysis of Lord Thank You

Lord Thank You

Lord, we haven’t talked in a while

I thank you for a child’s smile,

and the beauty of a country mile.

Lord thank you, for those blue skies

and those birds that fly so high!

and a gentle lover's sigh.

Lord, thank you for all those things

that bring forth laughter’s ring!

Praise be, one day I’ll hear angels sing

Lord thank you, for giving me another day,

for giving me the chance to say,

Thank you, Lord for lighting my way.
