Analysis of Restructuring

Gone are the invincible years
a wasted youth was spent
Like a car in a wreck
I feel every miniscule dent
The coming of age
has come and went
Chasing down a future
from the past I was lent
Backwards and forwards
how is my time spent?
On a gradual mission
the driving force inside
To regain the goodness
and the stripped away pride
For years living in denial
the truth was it was a lie
Smart enough to know
what is a fools paradise
Seeking solace in the sun
as the cold moon cries
