Analysis of Identity
I like hearing she because it makes me feel pretty
But when im referred to as they
It makes me feel safe
So she/they?
But then when i say it
Everybody states that
“She/they isn’t valid” or
“Your just confused”
It makes my world spin
And my mind all fizzy
And i just feel so dizzy
because i’m stuck
Stuck in a loop that
I can’t escape
I’m trying to fight
Clawing my way
Just to try and find
A place where i can be safe
Where I can be she/they
And not deal with the hate
I AM VALID
