Analysis of The Secret

JP. 1948 (United Kingdom)

One kiss from you is all I need
A sign the blindest might just read
My shard of heaven snatched from time
That returned gift so clandestine

In truth I cannot walk away
Until your kisses come to stay
Through parted hair upon my neck
I know it’s you, no need to check

Once planted there all will is swayed
Electrified a tingle delayed
A feeling that I can’t describe
To one more kiss I will subscribe

It spreads as wildfire in my head
With inhibition freely shed
This kiss that came complete surprise
I will not, cannot compromise

And now we share this secret touch
A contact wanted very much
But not to see where it had been
Yet know for sure what it might mean

In wait you lie to catch again
That nape to kiss to drive insane
As secretly I bide with care
To crave the hand that lifts my hair
