Analysis of Facing the headmaster!
GIDRAF MWANGI 1992 (Murang'a)
I sneak in noiselessly
Fearing to arouse purported snake
Are all the stories true? I ponder
Are you scared at first sight?
There sat the headmaster
Waiting like a wolf
Preparing to attack an elephant
‘In hell?’ I wonder
On your hind legs, fores back!
Fall back into the recess
‘Hurt not the fat sooty spider!’
I add imaginarily!
Your hair is ruffled
Scuffled with a comb today?
Your jacket is flared
Scare not the civilized!
Though un-exhausted
A strange smell reeks the air
Think your stink is fair?
Sony! How can you dare!
I couldn’t stand it any longer
The bloodshot cold eyes
The whip menacing and eager
I ran out shakily like ripples
