I have been writing poetry since high school. I began writing more extensively in college. In 2013 I published my first book of some of my poetry entitled "Walk On Water." I am currently working on another book to publish with my poetry and some essays.

Blue green swirls

  smacked with mellow yellow-

  coming down

  all around

  and even in me

  is what I see.

The beauty of life all around me

  the sky, the clouds,

  a butterfly.

  I open up to it all

  I fly.
