"I write poetry for many different reasons. However, my main reason is to express my feelings and thoughts about the world and its many problems. Poetry is a way of expressing and relieving frustration and anger as well as happiness and joy. I am not very articulate, in fact I am better at writing down my feelings than speaking them aloud. I treasure my talents because it's a gift from God. Poetry means alot to me because it opens the door to communication without interruption or criticism." Copyrighted ©2005 Author: Marlana L.
