I am type one diabetic With lupus, I work in an Emergency Room and have always loved poetry, as well as us it to escape my own mind at times. Using words to express what I cant not speak.

Paralyzed by words spoken in silence from strangers gazes.
I no longer feel the feelings they say I should feel.
Lost the real me or did I kill the real me,
Been here to many times .

The hardest thing I had to do!!!

The hardest thing I ever had to do!
The first was get out of bed
See when you have a roommate like depression
The clothes are always left on the floor
The dishes are never clean
And is that smell me!
See with depression you know you need...
