I chose this poem because it pulled my heart strings, it made me cry, it took me in the car past the park in the dogs mind. Very good poem.

SO EXCITING CANT WAIT TO READ SOME OF THESE POEMS!

This is a first for me. First poetry competition, first time paying a fee to
enter a contest, and first poem I've written since my husband's passing.
Since August of 2020, my poetry was put on hold until I wrote this poem
in his memory, and revisited the nightmare of that day. I hope I laid it all
