I love you so

I love you so
the birds may sing
the bees may buzz
the adults may hum
the child may squeal
yet i shall cry
for you could never understand
the pain i feel.

I love you so.
if the moon failed to rise
and the sun failed to fall
we would be stuck in a state of starlight
a planet lit by the cosmos
it would be beautiful
and I would be contentedly happy
to die the death this would bring upon us
so long as I had you by my side

see,
you could be the birds and bees.
the child and adult.
yet it appears,
you, are your own.
A majestic being, with a witty opinion on everything.
you are mine,
and in turn I am yours.

do not be upset,
do not be tense,
the world still spins.
yet it will come to an end
through all of the storms
and all of the droughts,
I will be with you
thorough, and loud.

for I love you
