where lies my path?
the road is rough
the sole of my feet now tough

what journey could be so tirey
my bones plead for mercy
my tongue on fire
oh please a droplet of water

who will show me the way?
my heart is blind and so i can't follow
when will i see the light?
my constant prayer every day and night

i have been left unaided
has my destiny evaded?
it feels so dark
where lies my path
