The Red Ridges LX
Here son, take this, this is a talisman
It will protect you from untold crooked ends
It has the blessing of a million city gates
It has the comfort of the afflicted and mystical rose
You wil defeat every ill on your way with this
The might of God and the grace of heaven
The ends of the earth and the depths of the seas
The hearts of wars and the crowns of peace
All know about this great gift, the talisman
When your heart goes down just kiss it and love it
When the spirit rises put it in the heart of your head
It feels like a song in a holy cause of goodness
It works miracles in many fields of human labour
It is an antidote to green sands in the pots
It is a check to red salts on the dining table
It is a healer to blue grass and purple goats
Yes, the talisman that took a thousand men
From the field to the altar of God in marriage
And won the hearts of the women for supremacy
From genderized commitments that grow rancour
