The last day of Captain Slack

All pay tribute to Captain Slack.
The swarthy leader of a nefarious pack. Armed to the teeth they prepare to set sail after a night of profitable fare down by Slick Billy's pub in the vale.
Captain Slack had little to no shame. Pillaging and Plundering embodied a little kiddies game.
He was a ruthless brute challenging any man to a no holds barred shoot. He lost a few but won many more.Even in defeat he was always ready to even the score.
On one very muggy night,Captain Slack noticed a vessel barely in his sight. The men raised there flags and begun to get crazed;it was the first boat they had seen in seventeen days.
The closer they approached the smaller the craft seemed to appear. The scurvy dogs became restless in hoping to inflict fear.
When they finally arrived disbelief fell onto the crew;the little ship was no bigger than a large canoe. Up came a boy about 15 years of age. He asked for Captain Slack to which he handed him a crumpled page. It was a death note for Virginia Mayes the lost love of his life;the woman he was to settle down with as his wife. She fled to a town far away with his seed in her belly. She covered her tracks and changed her name to Kellie.
I am your son Captain Slack. My mother kept me away from you so I wouldn't follow on your track. She got ill and passed away. I have been searching for you since that awful day.
Captain Slack tearful and amazed asked the boy for a hug he accepted incredibly emotionally unfazed. As they embraced the boy tightened his grasp. The old man let out a horrific gasp.
One of the crew stabbed him in the back. They were all sick of his old tired act.Bleeding like a dog the young boy tossed him of the deck. His body hit the water and after a splash all that was left was a crimson speck.
The boy and the men had this planned all along. They celebrated with a classic sailing song.Hailing the boy with a raucous tune he would help them attain riches and fortune.
You see the men knew that in that young boys blood was the makeup to lead a bastard band of treacherous thugs.
