The Beach

On a clear day one can glance out
over the sea.
The ocean seems to go on for all eternity.
You hear the steady rhythm
of waves over the sand.
It's such a peaceful sound that echoes thru the land.
Flirting with the edge of the surf
don't let it touch your feet!
Little kids have so much fun
they think it's pretty neat.
To stroll with a loved one
down a deserted shore.
Is a special time to share with one that you adore.
Little wisps of clouds spread though an endless sky.
Turn orange during the sunset
as the lazy clouds float by.
It's a thing of wonder and beauty
where the land meets the sea.
Yes, the beach is a magical place
that everyone should surely see.
