Tarnished Poetry

They live in sonnets as verbs perform
The action of lying upon
Twisted broken wings
Encourage by unguided nouns
Some call them poetry
Then refuse to define what Poetry is
Poetry is much more then a legacy
It is a fatherless child
With salty tear ducks seaching for guidance
Mother are forced to play dual roles
There poetry grows warped
Days become years as
Playmates become ghost fears unravel
In funeral procession of solitude
Despair entombed by decades, imprisoned
In false redemption of prison bars
Forced to take toxic IV's
While a divided world watches
