Sleep, Close Your Eyes, Pretend to Die

-sleep, close your eyes;
-and, pretend to die...

-many strange dramas
-of life get off the bumpas
-through your feigned
-temporary sleep of death

-sleep, close your eyes;
-and, pretend to die..

-waiting in the spirit
-hearing the faint
-voices of pretenders
-in the heart's little vision
-to descern those who care
-to serve out the friends of love
-from those who share treachery
-only as a bargain of your cake
-appearance of a man in the face
-often is not the starture of the heart

-sleep, close your eyes;
-and, pretend to die...

-you will know the few
-who truly loves you
-you will wonder at the large crowd
-who only care to see your corpse
-fareweather friends
-not better than grave diggers

-sleep, close your eyes;
-and, when you finally dies;

-leaving behind a measure
-at the doors of your graveyard
-the few sharing the loss
-with tears of pains
-the unexpected multitude
-not minding your many good turns
-in a showers of accolades of jesters
-with funny crocordie tears..

-this is what it is, and truly is
-when you pretends to be dead!
-or even when you are finally gone!
