Posie in a pocket

I am a posie
Hidden deep inside a childish pocket
Orange,purple or red
Made of the best possible bread
Gello and goodness of sugary bites
I carry them all inside my head
My smile is tangy and flushed
With the best possible fruits money can buy
I am packed in a plastic wrap
Bows and twines prove I am a boy
Pencil hearts and paper tags
Indeed I am a fad
Chew me and swallow me flat
Indeed I am the oldest and the newest
I am the posie inside a childish pocket!
